CURRENT DUTIES: Acting Dean at the Court of First Instance of Croix-des-Bouquets. She presides in extraordinary hearings all urgent judicial and extra-judicial cases within her jurisdiction and administers the court as a whole.
EDUCATION: Holder of several Certificates as a trainer in the issue of gender-based violence, Human Trafficking, Comparative Law and other themes both in France and Haiti. She has a law degree, and graduated from the School of Magistrates (EMA). She speaks Creole, French, and a little English.
EXPERIENCE: Appointed Judge of Peace by the Minister of Justice in 2004, promoted to Assistant State Prosecutor working on the cases of minors and women victims of violence in 2012, promoted to Judge and Examining Judge for Minors in the jurisdiction of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince in 2017 by presidential commission, promoted to Acting Dean of the Court of First Instance of Croix-des-Bouquets by the Superior Council of Judicial Power (CSPJ) in April 2020. She has been in the Haitian magistracy for about 17 years, and has been a member of the CHAIFEJ for 14 years. Former Secretary General of the Haitian Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (CHAIFEJ), trainer in the topic of Human Trafficking at the CHAIFEJ for about eight years, and at the School of Magistrates for one year. Education and training officer at the CHAIFEJ since last year.
