Judge Blair D. Edwards is an alumnus of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and the University of Nevada Judicial College. She began as a Children’s Attorney until 2008, when she was elected as State of Louisiana’s 21st Judicial District Court Judge over the Juvenile Division. She continues to preside over the Juvenile Division and its nationally distinguished Juvenile Drug Court.
Judge Edwards is a fellow of the Early Childhood Policy Leader Institute, certified A.C.E. Trainer, and certified TBRI Practitioner. She has many professional affiliations and serves on numerous boards, including the Board of Trustees for the State of Louisiana’s Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and the Supreme Court of Louisiana Technology Commission.
Judge Edwards is also a philanthropist, wife, mother of five, and grandmother of three.Back to speakers
