Exciting news
IAWJ biennial conference:
Auckland from 7 to 9 May 2021

This will be an in-person conference for delegates who can travel to New Zealand. Unfortunately, it looks as though some travel restrictions are likely to remain in place in 2021. The conference will therefore be live-streamed and recorded so that it will be accessible on the conference website for all delegates to view until the end of 2021. The IAWJ is also planning a series of add on webinars for the remainder of 2021 which will be included in the conference fee.

We hope that most of the keynote speakers from the postponed conference will still be able to speak, albeit virtually. More details including registration details to come.

Although we are sad that we will not be able to welcome you all in person to New Zealand, we think this mostly virtual event will still be an amazing experience and we are very much looking forward to hosting you in 2021.

Justice Susan Glazebrook,  President-Elect of the IAWJ
Judge Mary O’Dwyer, President of the NZAWJ

Auckland
New Zealand

Auckland is a beautiful city built around a stunning waterfront which has been developed into a vibrant entertainment area with a host of upmarket restaurants, bars and shops.

Other attractions include the magnificent Maritime Museum and the fascinating Antarctic Exhibition at Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World. Nearby, the Auckland War Memorial Museum gives a superb insight into history and culture from New Zealand and around the world. Auckland's Sky Tower, situated in the heart of the city, is a must-visit attraction with incredible views, a range of activities for thrill seekers and a wide range of dining options.
